Joseph

I look around the room as she takes care of the door and curtains, plopping down on the beige colored couch and sighing.

Grace

I think, "Let's start by finding the name to whoever owns this apartment. We find the name, we find the friends to the newborn, and we let them draw the two out."

Melissa

I pace back and forth, shaking my hands and biting my nails. My face grows red and I bite my bottom lip.

Adam

I nod. "I will go ask down stairs." I say. I walk down stairs and ask the name of the person who lives on apartment 275. Once the lady tells me, I jog back up to the room and tell Grace.

Joseph

I watch her for a little before standing and wrapping her in my arms, stopping her, "Calm down, Mel. We're okay for now."

Grace

I nod and cross my arms, "Time to look up his friends. Looks like we're blending in for a little."

Melissa

I bury my face in his chest and sigh. "For now." I repeat. I wrap my arms around his neck an pull closer to him.

Adam

I nod. "Yes, we are. We need to get his friends soon. It was no smart of Melissa to do this, but I am glad she did." I say.

Joseph

I kiss her cheek, nodding, "Let's just relax."

Grace

I nod back and smile lightly, "As am I. Shall we?"

Melissa

I nod and sigh. I look up and him and kiss him softly.

Adam

I smile and open the door for her. "We shall." I say.

Joseph

I bring a hand to the side of her face and kiss her back.

Grace

I smile back and lead him out, waiting for him in the hallway.

Melissa

I smile and do not pull away for a moment. I place my hand on his and pull away. "Thank you." I say, lowering my voice to a whisper.

Adam

I close the door behind me and let her lead the way.

Joseph

I rest my forehead against hers and smile back, nodding, "You're welcome."

Grace

I lead him out of the halls and back down to the desk, asking for a bit more information on the guy.

Melissa

I take his hands in mine and walk him over to the couch.


Adam

We walk down and I smile at the lady again, hoping she will give us something good.

Joseph

I follow her to the couch and sit down, sitting her against me.

Grace

I smile with him and listen as she gives us a number to call, claiming it was his emergency contact who visited often.

Melissa

I smile and cuddle up to him, longing for the safe feeling he gives me.

Adam

I thank her and take the number. Grace and I walk outside and I take out my phone, smiling. It rings and the person picks up. "Yes, hi. I wane to speak to you about Joseph. Please meet me at his apartment in ten minutes." I smile when he says he wil be there.

Joseph

I kiss the top of her head and keep my arms around her, taking a deep breath.

Grace

I smile when Adam does, waiting at his side for the friend.

Melissa

I smile and close my eyes. "I am sorry you are in this." I say.

Adam

I hang up the phone and we wait for the kid to get here. I smile in the though for finally putting a stop to Melissa.

Joseph

I smile and close my eyes too, "I'm not. It's worth being with you."

I lean against the brick and wait, smiling in anticipation.
