Ky very hesitantly and sheepishly served herself a modest amount of food, taking a small portion of each dish to be polite, even the ones that looked questionable. She handed the serving utensil of each dish to Tadaaki next to let him follow her lead, which he did gratefully.

Ky nodded a little and picked up her fork and took a bite, Tadaaki still following her lead. He was grateful she was here. He’d be even more anxious if he had to figure out what to do rather than just copying Ky. Letting her navigate the politics for him.
