He needed to do something or Emery was going to marching into Gaius’s office to announce that Zander had called him an asshole, even though that wasn’t what happened. It seemed like that’s what Emery had gotten in his head somehow, though. And, well, he doubted that Gaius denied the fact that he was an asshole. That was just a statement of fact.
