@Lightsong I second what Mea said! I sort of came into this intending to do all of the events (even though I missed the word war one) and was really surprised to have placed in one of them. With the photo prompts and the ABC poem especially, I’ve been feeling pretty inspired, and I feel like this is going to be fun for writing on my own when I get around to trying some new things.

Besides, the judges can only choose the top three out of all the great things people entered. It doesn’t make yours bad if you didn’t place!

@Lightsong don't feel discouraged! I'm not sure how many of the events you entered in, but you now have more writing in your portfolio than you did before!

I think I've participated in these Olympics since 2010 and my first time ever placing was in Carlito's six word stories event!

I wrote this the last Olympics I participated in but it's still just as applicable. - I'll repost it in the main forum I think too.

Seriously guys, I'm so proud of all of you. I wasn't expecting to win at all, but you all brought your a game.

Disney has always been about believing that anything is possible, and I love that we did it, even if winning isn't the most important thing.
