Can it be a fanfiction of a favorite villain, or do I create a new one of my own? This sounds great. :)

It can either be an original villain or one of your favorites from some other media.

And when I think anti-hero I think Draco so sure, you can write a Draco, but pre-DH Draco. They still have to be on the "bad" side.

@magpie94 Try to be reasonable, I don't mind profanity - I'm a bit of a potty mouth myself - but put your entry in spoilers.

Mine is somewhere in-between 1,000 and 1,200 words. Is that all right? Consise is not my middle name. I tried my hardest...

edit: I Cut it down to exactly 998 words, including the title. Didn't know if you would be so touchy about that, seeing as it is an important contest...

I'm wondering, what classifies as a villain? Can it be a person who does an evil deed, but has "good reasons" and does it with regret? Or does it have to be one who delights in the bad deeds?

Does the word count include the title? Mine's 998 words, I believe, but plus the title (and "by Lucrezia"), it'll go over the allotted amount...

Mines a little bit over, about by 50. It's very hard to cut it down more than that?

Never-mind, I managed to do it.
