Squire pup returns, venturing at long last from the Chatroom commons. She shakes her head at the state of the knights' swords--have the ladies never heard of a grindstone? Surely, they must have enough coin to buy new blades! A good knight never lets his weapons fall into disrepair for long--and wishes she'd kept a log of the paltry few attacks she'd managed to launch on the green room in her absence. Ah, well... a start is a start, no matter how small.

Edit: Squire pup has just remembered her erstwhile post, and as it is easier to find on the front page, will post her acheivements there.
She does not, however, believe in covering up blunders.

Some awesome KotGR announcements today!

First, both Knight Black and Knight Barefoot have avoided becoming thinly-sliced deli meat because Knight Hannah wasn't actually in the vicinity! She was on vacation and had left a cardboard copy in her place, so obviously Knight Black and Knight Barefoot won all those duels!

Second, we welcome a new knight to our family today. Moving quickly from Squire status to Knight status, our ranks grow with the addition of Knight HomeschooledTeen who is welcome to submit a new Knight name for the roster, but Knight Hannah was unsure how to apply a name!

The atmosphere in the tavern was sleepy. And who could blame the Green Room Knights? Since their great victory back in February, the Green Room had remained pretty tame. The Knights' fame and the fame of the Green Room had grown enough that every month the people of the YWS Kingdom threw a massive party and went out with their wooden swords and cups full of punch to clear out the Green Room on a regular basis.

It was the age old problem. The Knights were quality. They'd done their work well. But what was next? With one challenge vanquished, to whom could they turn their swords? The Knights were itching for a battle. And in their fierce love of roasted pork and acorn casseroles, they had all but forgotten the mysterious key they'd won from the Outerlands. It had been, admittedly, quite exciting to open the jeweled case they found inside the cave they'd needed horses and many strong knights to open, but much less exciting when they realized they had no idea what the key was for and had no hint to follow.

That is, until Knight @HomeschooledTeen, the newest addition to the family, took one look at the key and said,

"Oh hey, I know where that goes!"

Eyes went wide around the room. Even Knight @Auxiira set down her cup and listened carefully. For a while, the room was silent and Knight HomeschooledTeen shifted uneasily.

"WELL!?" growled Knight @Aley. "Are you going to tell us!?"

Growls of agreement echoed around the room. Knight Hannah was so incensed she pounded her fist rather quietly upon the table. Knight Attack (@PenguinAttack) followed suit, and soon the entire company, from Knight Jordin (@Johnathan) to Knight Totoro (@beckiw) were pounding and waiting for an answer.

"Oh," gulped Knight HomeschooledTeen. "It's just my cousin's brother's aunt's distant and estranged grandfather's friend's cousin's son's place out in the forest. They're all dead by now, though."

It took nary a minute for those Knights with horses to mount them and those Knights without to beg a ride. Then they were off, into the forest to find their new

Knights of the Green Room Headquarters.
