Okay, this is about a little girl and she's playing a game during recess and the others aren't listening to what she's saying. I'm sure we've all been there. It is the emotion running through your head. that's what this song is about.

Verse 1:
Keep on your side,
don’t come near.
Someday the world will crash around your ears.
You’ll regret every single word you said,
that caused me to cry.

I can’t keep it in much longer,
my soul is screaming for release.
It’s not hard to know and understand
what it’s like to care!

Chorus:
My soul
it wants out,
it wants to see the light of day.
It wants to tell you exactly what it thinks of you.
The Devil’s playground is overflowing with injustice
and I know.
I won’t go near the truth.

Verse 2:
Don’t cross the line,
my face is red, my hands in fist and clasped.
It’s a rule for my safety, and a rule there for a reason.
Keep yourself away. Don’t come near.
It’s not very close but it’s close enough.

I can’t keep it in much longer,
my soul is screaming for release.
It’s not hard to know and understand
what it’s like to care!

CHORUS

Bridge:
You did, you crossed the invisible line!
You went where I told you not to go,
that September night.
If my words escape me,
If I can’t find my tongue,
If I can’t keep going,
I’ll know it’s because of you.
I can’t keep it in much longer,
my soul is screaming for release.
It’s not hard to know and understand
what it’s like to care!

CHORUS

Ending:
My soul is screaming for release,
The Devil’s playground is flowing with injustice.
In the dark place where it dwells.
hush, my sweet
these tornadoes are for you

ANNA-SPARK! I like this song, though I don't see it as a little girl in the playground - I see much more figurative language. Maybe I'm weird O.o

I see it as... a girl, yes, (actually this could also be a boy but...) who has been hurt and has locked up her emotions for too long. In a way the story you're trying to tell and the story I have in my mind correlate however I see it more as suffering from lack of expression.

Bridge:
You did, you crossed the invisible line! I think it sound better without the 'invisible'. FORREAL.
You went where I told you not to go,
that September night.
If my words escape me,
If I can’t find my tongue,
If I can’t keep going,
I’ll know it’s because of you.
I can’t keep it in much longer,
my soul is screaming for release.
It’s not hard to know and understand
what it’s like to care!

I love how you always repeat some of your lines at the end. It brings the reader (or listener??) back to the point you were trying to put across.

I see the "like" button. ;D <3

Review~~
Me like this song. Me like this song a lot. I can relate to this song, some how. I like the chorus a lot. One thing:
SparkOfDoubt wrote:Don’t cross the line,
my face is red, my hands in fists and clasped.

Two hands, noh?
*Looks at review* I don't think I said anything useful. :( Just that I like this song very much.
*Sees club* :D
