One thought comes in my head.
Just one more twangy baritone,
And I'll soon be dead!

They like to sing 'bout heartbreak,
And other things the like.
I'll listen to more hopeful things,
Or else will take a hike!

Ahahaha! I really liked this, it was short and sweet.

Just one small suggestion:

Or else will take a hike!

I would change the will to I'll. That's only my opinion though.

This felt more like a poem to me than a song, but I liked it anyway. I can't stand country music...especially male country singers...it makes me cringe. I like some female country singers like Shania Twain and Taylor Swift, but that's it.

This was okay..it didn't seem like a song though. You also forgot to mention about them singing about drinking.

I like this. It's nice and short but the message is definitely clear, that country music sucks. I couldn't agree more. The rhyming is good, too. Good work. Keep it up.

^ Short and to the point.. I LOVE it. I don't really like country music either, and they do always sing about heartbreak. It's gets pretty cliche after a while, and they all sound the same! Overall, great piece. I really liked it
