does a moth ever get tired of always reaching for the light Because it's impossible to break through this mist window and the light gets dimmer with each press of delicate wing but yet they still strive almost making progress before falling to the laced net below one day the window shatters breaking into a million pieces and we finally make it and stain-glass wings melt under the sun and we fall to the dust broken

As i sit here unpicking the threads of time I realize It's important to count your blessing while you have them Because sometimes winds come like a hurricane to blow them down like Dominos Crashing down And ending all you know. And even when it feels that the bad times never end But when they tumble down like a boulder when Sisyphus decides to stop pushing You'll miss them when they're gone When you have nothing Count your blessings

Trinity <3 You're doing great! I love the conversational-voice of the 2nd poem, and also the winding imagery. In that first poem, moth's a beautiful poetic motif -> if you haven't read "The Lesson of the Moth" by Don Marquis that's my all time favorite poem. I like what you did with it, and that poem also totally fit your mosaic motif with the stained glass reference too.
Good luck this month, looking forward to reading much more Trinity poetry! <3
you should know i am a time traveler & there is no season as achingly temporary as now
The moth poem is really haunting, and I love the imagery, it's very vivid. "laced net" and "stain-glass" bring to mind this sort of very intricate and zoomed-in visual of the moths. I also like the allusion "when Sisyphus decides to stop pushing" in your second poem. I thought it was a good way to convey how heavy the crashing things are. "unpicking the threads of time" is also a neat image. Both poems make me think of 'patterns' actually, which like alliyah said fits in really nicely with your thread title/ theme!
I have many doors that go to no where They fill my small home with emptiness I open each one wondering if just by hopeing they will become somthing But they stay connected to their wood frame Keeping me in my prison I know there must be a key under all these mats But they're so transparent they hide everything Some of them were woven from my hope, but i ran out years ago So i switched to using hate It is better at hiding My lost secrets I am stuck Behind the door of my mind.

Thanks so much @Liminality ! I'm glad you liked those aspects. Thanks for taking the time to read and give such great feedback!

Diamonds glitter on the frozen ground They shimmer and sparkle as the winter sun refracts I am blinded by the light As my soul connects with each fleck of frost A million pieces of verying shapes Some flects ruined by memories of the ground and the remnants of smoke stacks All separate and together at the same moment Frozen in time Until suddenly It ends As it's scouped up into the perfect snowball That made your perfect day Yet the snowball is left behind Smashed Again broken Will it ever be put back together? Will you put me back together?
Spoiler! :
I dont know how i fee about this one but...

Hi Trinity! You're off to a fabulous start this NaPo. I just wanted to stop by to say that the way you have the "Perfect" being part of two lines in Imperfect Perfections is really interesting and memorable! The way you have that word centered and bolded adds a lot of visual emphasis as well that's very effective.
And I really enjoyed broken frost. Your imagery is stunning there; I especially love "As my soul connects with each fleck of frost" and "All separate and together at the same moment". *chef's kiss*. The shift to "I" pronouns at the end is an interesting twist, too - the ending is </3
Keep up the fabulous poeting!
When you're faced with something you don't understand, I think the most natural thing but also least interesting thing you can be is afraid.
Thanks so much Seirre! I really appreciate your comment! It helps to know what aspects are liked I'm glad you liked Imperfect prefections too, i was unsure about it. Thanks for reading and commenting! -Trinity

I jave zero comprehension of this poem, and it's not great, but it's been a long day and I'm cutting it close to the deadline so... What are colors What are colors? They are mixtures of pigments They are the cones in your eye Maybe there all you can see when you hear my words They are what makes up our world And that means our world is based on Abetraty definitions Of what's read and what's the sky's deep blue What are colors They are my imagination They are the center of your hart They are what makes music plays There all I can see when i alone What are colors They are life What are colors
