White Wings

and then i took it upon myself to begin to fly,
to spread my wings and look beyond the great sky.
if time would tell that i would begin to question why,
every little negative comment about me would be deemed a lie.

roses are red,
violets are blue,
confidence is the best gift for you.

Cold-Hearted Adamant

i always like the number four for all my stanzas...

(verse 1)
I've guess I've had a bunch of embarrassing crushes,
I wish they were gone when I counted to two, but I
Never really wanted to think about it much
Well, I guess I never before ran into you

If romantics are wimps, then label me one,
I'll be right back here when the sun goes down
Before I decided to let it all run

(chorus)
I'm not desperate
I swear, I'm not desperate for anyone
Yes, I'm the cold-hearted adamant
Forever in the corner of your eye

I'm not desperate
I swear, I'm not desperate for anything
But instead, for a happy time where all of us can laugh like friends

(verse 2)
I've guess I've had numerous times where I would regret,
I wish I didn't do it when I counted to two, but I
Never really wanted to think about it much
Well, I guess I never before ran into you

I guess we're here again
Sitting on the table, looking at the night sky ahead
Do I think we're able to finally
Through all these months
Let this go?

(chorus 2)
I'm not desperate
I swear, I'm not desperate for anyone
Yes, I'm the cold-hearted adamant
Forever in the corner of your eye

I'm not desperate
I swear, I'm not desperate for anything
You know me, I know you, I don't think that'll ever change

Instrumental

(bridge--rap)
Whenever you laugh, it's stupid
If you are there, I sigh
As I wait for you in the hallway, I just ask myself why*

(chorus 3)
I'm not desperate
I swear, I'm not desperate for anyone
Yes, I'm the cold-hearted adamant
Forever in the corner of your eye

* = Continue?

Eternal

time is a gift
clocks tick
everything stands still.

the girl watches
and learns
before it's too late.

why am i here?
to live?
without destiny?

life is a gift
birds sing
it all comes to life.

to person n

you're a yellow rose
all soft petals and even, the luminous luck of love
until one begins to tear those satin silks away only to reveal--
that you're a nest of thorns,
sharp, poised, insatiable for blood to spill
and then there is no return.

how to fake a smile

1) believe your goal is attainable. don't let anyone stop you from reaching it, even if
it means hurting them
because now, victory is in your path.

and if you don't have a goal, why are you reading this?

2) ditch your personality. hide your flaws, your eccentricities, everything impure about you
tomorrow, wake up someone new
the transition phase should be quick.

3) with the new you, you can finally start over again
bathe in their astonishment
and finally, fake your smiles.

Spoiler! :
It's going to be a step by step thing, and I'll probably extend it. NaPo is just a bunch of rough ideas for me to work off of.

For the Tide to Turn

Blood cools to crystal red ice,
Like the ruby jewels atop the crown of his cutthroat queen
As the warrior charges with a blinding rage
Into the stage of battle.
Regrets and past ties are left behind for the weak,
The ones destined to die.

Across the sea on a northern throne
Is a ill-fated prince, trapped in a game of chess
Who fails to catch the enemy's counter-attack,
And must watch his kingdom burn.

The girl in the village looks blindly,
Running her hands through fallen armor,
Pricking her fingers with the tips of shields.
She does not think of the warriors, the queens and kings
For she will be the Ace.

Hyoscyamus Niger

intoxication
derived from the giddy sensation
of simply being too close,
as you grow restless from having more
and more.

hallucinations
the flower, now in your system, croons
the fantasies that you have are
beyond achievable,
the pulsing colors mocking you.

memory disturbances
she said yes to you with a laugh
a twinkling smile,
and you never fell from heights
beyond measurable.

Archetypes

Did you ever realize
That we could be the villains
In our very own play?

Did you think about the fallen heroes
And how they're never seen again?

Do we wonder about the spotlight
And how it blinds us all?

Or are we content to sit back
And watch it all unfold?

BELLADONNA

*swearing*. also, manilla gets unhealthily petty. this could be a rap song?

Spoiler! :
here is a tissue
for your issue,
the one
you never fix.

you feeling shitty?
take my pity;
true lies can't ever make you pretty.

you've lost the kingdom keys,
you've lost your bitches,
and there's no
getting them back.
