I hit the Napo jackpot today. My last poem A Storm Distilled in a Girl has several mentions of storm, flood, rain, maelstroms, tsunamis, and hurricanes. So many destructive forces of nature. xD

I think processing plant could possibly fit the qualifications? I mentioned "water beds" and water is an element!

Current Cream Scores

@alliyah with 150
Spoiler! :
I counted waterx2, firex2, and snow totaling 50 points!

@bluewaterlily with 110
Spoiler! :
I counted 4 uses of storm (synonyms for storm does NOT count - strawberry game is ONLY the word itself xD) but I also counted 6 elements :)
ice, lightning, water, thunderx2, stone. Giving you 100 points!

Spectator with 70
@Hattable with 40
Spoiler! :
I counted wind, stone, water in traveler of seas totaling 30 points!

@Evander with 30
Spoiler! :
I found water! I'm also giving you points for rock(s) and ground in "precious metals" because I play pokemon and those are elements too ^_^

@Lareine with 20
@Aley with 20
Spoiler! :
I'm counting dark as an element because pokemon.

@Rosendorn with 10
@Querencia with 10
@Arcticus with 10
@soundofmind with 10
@killeham with 10
@TheSilverFox with 10
@fortis with 10
@Meshugenah with 0 burns is not an element

The Games are Real Close! We had Bluewaterlily jump 100 points with heaps of vanilla and strawberry scoopings but Alliyah manages to keep her lead scooping up more vanilla to counter Bluewaterlily's race to the top!

Don't get too comfortable ladies. Hattable and Evander are gaining and we've got more players now scrambling for scoops as well!

Who will win? Time will tell!

April 4th

Let the records show- we almost had a winner! @PrincessInk, you had the right word just the wrong timing

Awww! Get those guesses in folks, you never know when you can score big ;)

Today's Ice Cream Games

If your poem contains the word "tumble" or any words that might be an onomatopoeia, you will have won today's games! Post below to reveal winnings!

Image

For those of us with bad luck, post below to guess tomorrow's most frequently used word!

Code: Select all
Strawberry Games Entry: Does your April 4th poem contain the word 'tumble' ? If so link to your poem!
Vanilla Games Entry: Does your April 4th poem contain an onomatopoeia? Examples: boom, buzz, pop, bark, clanging, clap, etc. ?
Chocolate Games Entry: Enter A word You Guess will End up as Tomorrow's Most Common Word!

Quick note! I will back-reward points. Meaning, if you're only finding out about this now and you think your April 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, poems qualify - just link me to them. But you must link me!

I also have backlogs of everyone's poems in a notepad somewhere. So you can't cheat me and "edit" in a word :P I'm doing this for those who did win but I might've missed! And if you think I missed something, don't sweat, just let me know!

Interestingly enough for those who guessed "storm" *cough* Mesh *cough* -- that word did appear 7 times :)

Tumble weirdly enough appeared 8 times o_o

Compare to "time" which appeared 30 times!
