"This world is but a canvas to our imagination." ~Thoreau
So this poem sets my inspiration button blazing, ahhhhhhh, I always love your pieces. There is something so precise and meditative in your word choices that really draws on this free-flowing feeling of spirit. The poem speaks and acts and does things, those verbs just pop at you and the nouns are so pretty, and the poem pared down to its essentials. It is powerful. <3
Seven and eight have to be my overall favorites so far, but I found some imagery gems in ten such as the beginning of the piece. I do have to say that your style has changed some and I do see you experimenting, which is always an interesting and great aspect of poetry. Your emotional weight behind your lines is still a strength but I like that you're playing more around with your imagery too.
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. — T.S. Eliot
