It's almost National Poetry Month which means YWS is gearing up to explore a whole new dedication to our poetic talents. Whether you're a first time participant, long time poet, or just here for an adventure of writing every day for a month, there's something we've got in the works for you.

Workshops will be hosted near the end of each week during National Poetry Month at a range of times to best accommodate as many people as possible. Workshops will be posted in this thread to tell you what's coming up. Here's the first teaser to start.

Subscribe to this thread to get updates and links to the workshops!

You wake up one morning and there it is, your Baby! But wait - what is this? An awkward phrase, a wonky adverb? Nothing for it, you're going to have to edit. Come by for our next workshop to look out how to edit your babies without tearing them apart.

There will be a (slightly impromptu) Phrase Manipulation workshop on Sunday 24th April 9:00pm to 10:00pm. We'll be looking at what Phrase Manipulation poems are and how to craft one of our own! The split will be 20-30 minutes on looking at examples and discussing how they are crafted and then 30-40 minutes on writing! I'll post a link in this thread just before it starts.
