I tend to write very emotional poems straight from the heart. Here ya all go:

April,ready?Here I come!
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads only lives once
~George R. Martin

Life isn't about finding yourself; it's about recreating yourself. ~George B. Shaw

Here is my poems for April 1st:

Forever Voices ~

Voices can be heard,

Pounding in my head.

Telling me many things

that I dread to hear.

Revealing the truth about me.

Why are there so many tabs open?

Why can't my mind be quieted?

And void less of thoughts.

Shutting my ears tight won't help

The voices are still there.

Haunting me every day

and every night.

Go away voices!

I don't know how to discern.

The voices still live on in my mind.

Forever voices.
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads only lives once
~George R. Martin

April 2nd:

Broken Home

I live in a broken home,
with no love
endless fights
and broken people.

Argues,heated glances,
uncomfortable silence.
Beatings,shouting,
And everything in between

Someone snapped me in half
Or did I do that to myself?
I feel beyond mending
So don’t even try.

I need to escape this,
Get out and recover
I need time to grow
because I am broken.
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads only lives once

This is a poem for #NaPoVerse and for Day 1: @Audy
Titled: Spring is here
This is dedicated to @Sunshine1113

Spring is here!
It is so very near.
The warm breeze blows
and I breath the air through my nose
Feeling it touch my toes.

Opening my eyes wide,
I see the incredible beauty and detail.
Buds are growing!
Stems of tulips are popping out of the ground.
Birds are chirping their song.

Trees are recovering their leaves!
Shrubs are bursting to live with their greenery.
Animals are coming out of their hiding places,
Warm temperature is showing
Spring is in the air.

The sun is shining down
Sunshine,radiating on your bones
Can’t you just feel it?
Can’t you just smell it?
Alas, long awaited spring is finally here!

This is another poem for Napoverse for April 2 @Audy
Here is my original poem that I got my muse from It's called: A dream by William Blake

Dedicated to @Skydreamer

Here is my poem that I wrote based off of that idea:
Like an Ant

There was once a dream that was playing in my head,
Fluttering like a butterfly over my soft bed.
The path of thoughts in my head,
Stood where the crossroads meet.

Confused, I didn't know which way to go.
Shaken,bewildered, and lost
On my nonexistent path
My mind cried out!

No one can figure out this mess of minds, but me.
Across my hand ran an ant
“Look!” I told myself. They are not lost,
They know exactly where to go.

I now knew where I had to go!
Home,straight home
To the place where the dearest I hold.
Home is the place I will go!

Here is my April 3rd Napoverse @Audy( I dug up some old diaries and out of some lines I wrote this poem)
Another Day
Dedicated to: @Flite

My pen touches paper,
as the sun goes down.
A reminder that tomorrow
is a new day and a fresh start.

It’s time to get rid of the epidemic of laziness,
and take authority over that new day
and hold it in my hand
Once again.

I wonder what the future of today will be
But I don’t even know what the next minute holds
I can’t control what will happen,
But I will control the day that I hold in my hand.

Looking out the window,
I see the most beautiful sunset
With pink,orange,yellow, and red hues.
Another reminder that tomorrow is another day.

Here is April 4 poem for #napoverse @Audy
It was supposed to be:"Because I don't know the name of trees" but then my whole idea turned into
Pine Tree Miracle
Inspired by the pine trees outside my window

A tiny, lonely girl watched a sapling grow,

From a pine cone,

Day after day she saw

The miracle of the pine tree.

Up it went, higher and higher,

Needles sharpened, bark became rough.

Branches gave way into many directions,

And the cycle goes back to the origin once again.

Little baby pine cones appear,

Snuggled in the depth of the branches

Crushing the needles with the heel of her foot,

She smells the scent and aroma of pines.

So big and majestic

Took so long to grow

And now the grandmother sits under it's shade,

and looks up at the pine tree miracle.

This poem is for Day 5 of #Napoverse(for an amethyst Gem) (@Audy)- I googled my topic and here is what I came up with

Mount Everest

High in meters,
Tallest of all,
It stands in Nepal.
Unmoving.

Placed on the edge of the Himalayas:
Mahalangur section,
It stands out
Different.

Some British mountaineers attempt to climb it,
Up to the summit.
Where there is a glorious view,
Down below.

Snows lays on the ground.
The slop clothed,
In a blanket of white
Constantly cold.

Morning sunlight,
Reflects the southern side
Like a flashing mirror
Beautiful.

Here is another poem for Day 6 of #napoverse (@Audy) it wasn't that hard at all-it was actually pretty easy. Here ya go!

Ink to Paper
Dedicated to: @steampowered

Like sunlight burning at midnight,
Your lantern lights the path
Ink to paper

In days of wandering,
Pointing which way I shall go
Ink to paper.

Words locked up in a cell,
Novels trapped inside my mind
Waiting to be released free on
Ink to paper.

“Who is this?” you ask.
It’s my writing muse,
That’s ink to paper for you!

This is my Day 7 of #napoverse @Audy
Here is the original sonnet Which I took the first line of it.

Hearable Music

Music I heard with you was more than music,
Your music filled the deepest part of my soul,
Because I heard that you music is love.

The flute that you hold in your hands is playing a soft musical tune,
Hereable to me in the other room.

Music is playing a melodic tune
that is drifting into my hearing,
My ears open wide and hear it,really hear it.

The music that you play,
is something that only I can hear.
It’s a special, and one-of-a-kind music
Because this music doesn’t have clear notes.

I love your music too
Because this music is just like you!

Forever Moms
Dedicated to
Spoiler! :

Here is the link that inspired me -MUST READ
You'll Always be My First
Standing still
She looked at me,
With a daisy in her hair.

Oh,how I wish I could capture that look
Of intense care and love toward her children
And frame it on the wall,
There to stay
Forever.

A mothers look, they call it
No,it's a mothers love
That puts her children before her
That will last
Forever

Kissing their boo-boos
Changing their diapers
Helping then do their homework
Cooking their favorite meals
Is what a mother would do
Forever
Moms are forever moms!

Daddy Says

Clouds hovering over my head,
Teardrops fall
Down my face.

I can't stop crying,
I want to give up
Because

I hear voices in my head saying:
"You're not normal"
No I'm not.

"Become normal!"
I can't.
That's not who I am.

"Shut up!" daddy screams at me.
I recoil away from his words,
And crawl into a corner to hide.

"Go away!" daddy shouts.
I flee from the toxic room,
and sit with my head in my knees.

Do you know daddy, how much your words hurt me?
I feel like I'm drowning in the rain.
I'm sinking, and I can't breathe.

Your words are like knives in my heart,
In my snapped in half, broken soul.
They hurt the most as I stand in the rain.

The hurt never washes away
It just brings me down
Stop using words.

I literally slaved over this poem and wrote it like three times. Here yall go:

The only one,all alone

A princess I used to be,
The only one, all alone.
Who lived in her sing-songey world

I danced on rainbows
Sang with the angels
And jumped on clouds
The only one, all alone

A decade passed.
And I felt myself being torn,
By the force of gravitational reality.
Out of the sing-songey world
The only one, all alone

I felt like I was drowning,
As I got pushed off a cliff,
Down into the sea of hurt.
My heart was wounded
By a million sword-edged words
The only one, all alone

I wanted to be that princess again
To ride on pretty unicorns
And sleep on a bed of flowers
With unlimited joy!
The only one, all alone.

I wished upon a star
Dreamed it in my dreams
That this would come to pass.

But the truth remains
I am not a princess anymore
I'm the only one, all alone.
