Here's how to enter:

Step One: Create a banner to use in RevMo 2022 reviews. You can check out threads from 2019 , 2020 , and 2021 for inspiration, and to get an idea of how this will work.

Step Two: Complete the following template and post it below in this thread!

You may also say that others may not use your banner if you prefer to have exclusive rights to it! We respect your creative privacy if that's what you'd prefer, but it's always more fun to share if you don't mind!

Step Three: Use your banner in a review!

Step Four: Come back and edit your post with a link to the review where you used it.

That's it! Once you've completed all 4 steps, you are officially entered in the contest, and you'll be awarded an exclusive banner contest badge as a thank you for your entry:


How is this judged?

Good question! You have until (automatically adjusted to your timezone) to enter a banner and use it in a review.

After that, we will create a new thread with a randomly ordered list of all of the banners entered into the contest and open the voting period. This will be from whenever we get the thread up, until to private message Big Brother with your top three votes. We will then tally up all the votes and announce the top three banners of the RevMo Banner Contest!

PRIZES

First Place will receive 1,000 points, 1 review, a fish doodle by Shady, and a haiku by Seirre. They will also receive a totally exclusive first place RevMo Banner Contest Badge:


Second Place will receive 500 points, a fish doodle by Shady, and a haiku by Seirre. They will also receive a totally exclusive second place RevMo Banner Contest Badge:


Third Place will receive 100 points, a fish doodle by Shady, and a haiku by Seirre. They will also receive a totally exclusive third place RevMo Banner Contest Badge:

Are we allowed to change our entry if we come up with something more stupendous? Also are we allowed more than one entry or one per person? Can we edit an old banner for an entry or does it need to be new? Sorry for all the questions!! Thanks!

Of course! Just make sure you still link to a review where the new stupendous banner has been used.

Are we allowed more than one entry or one per person?
Multiple entries are fine! As long as each one is used in a separate review they'll all be included as options in the voting thread. We did have a rule last year that if multiple of one person's banners got voted into the top three, only their highest ranked banner would "count" (so you only get one badge/prize and other people also have the opportunity to get gold, silver, or bronze). I think we'll stick with that this year, as well!

Can we edit an old banner for an entry or does it need to be new?
If you take inspo from an element of a past banner - colour scheme, font, etc. - that's fine, but it should still be a new unique banner that you made this year!
