The Frankie Waters Annual Writing and Art Competition is now open!
Short stories of between 1,000 - 10,000 words of any genre will be accepted from writers between 13-18yo (inclusive). Please refer to the website for this year's theme, and conditions of entry.

Top 30 will undergo preliminary professional editing.
Top 15 will undergo full professional editing and mentoring by an experienced author.
Top 8 will also be professional illustrated and published.
Places will soon be open for artists and mentors of all ages
Published authors will not only have the prestige of being published, but will share in profits from sale of the book.
Don't be afraid to give it a go. There are plenty of resources to assist you with your writing, which remain accessible to you long after the competition is over.
