YWS Poster Contest

YWS is an online home-away-from-home for many. Young Writers Society is also one of the best sites around for young writers to share their work and receive feedback on their writing. Writing can sometimes feel like a solo-task, but on YWS we've built a community here centered around writing. In short, the Young Writers Society is really a special place! If you're passionate about the site, have a knack for graphic design, and want to help spread the word about the Young Writers Society to others. This is the contest for you!

The contest is simply to design the very best poster that you can advertising YWS. Please upload your poster as a PDF or image. Something that would be visible printed in black & white is likely a good idea, but not required.

Information that must be featured on the poster:

* YWS website url: http://www.YoungWritersSociety.com

* Age info: for young writers 13-25

* You may also choose to use the YWS logo made originally by Bobo on your poster.

If you need some inspiration - here are what some previous YWS handouts/posters looked like: YWS Handout Flyers. Feel free to use your creativity!

Prizes:

Users will be encouraged to use the first and second place designs by posting them at their local libraries, schools, bookstores or wherever you think young writers who might interested in joining might come across them. Be sure to ask specific permission first.

First Place: 1500 points
Second Place: 750 points

Judges: @EternalRain, @TheBlueCat, @Magestorrow, @alliyah

Deadline: October 15th at midnight

Have Questions? Ask Below!

In case anyone wants a clean rip of the logo but can't get it because it seems to be buried under an html div:

I made another possibility with the same sort of idea but less description. I really love how enticing @Asith's poster info is, so I hope it's okay for this to also use part of the same message >_<
Not sure if the deadline for this has passed, so this might not count for anything but I'll leave it here anyway~
