Basically, I will PM you a kid's story (like the Thirsty Crow, or the Tortoise and the Hare), and you have to sort of add more layers. I know it's not clear, I'll explain-

Let's take the thirsty crow as an example-

• Add more description
• You could replace the animals with humans
• You could explain why your character has no food and water. Is he/she/they poor? Were they robbed? Something else?
• You could replace the pot with a well.
• Anything else, it will be your story.

How to participate- (all participants will be getting different stories)
You just reply to this thread, before (will automatically show in your time zone). If there aren't five participants by then, will probably extend it.

If you want to be a judge-
Just reply to this thread, before (will automatically show in your time zone). Will be accepting two more judges (three in total, myself included).

How to submit-
You have to PM me your story, and not post it anywhere else on YWS.

Deadline-
So, will be giving you 15 days to write your story, which means your deadline is (will automatically show in your time zone).

Your prize- (announced sometime in the week after submission)
I will review anything of my choice from your portfolio by the end of September.
1st prize- 3 reviews
2nd prize- 2 reviews
3rd prize- 1 review

I will be accepting participants even after five days of the initial deadline but they WON'T be getting extra time to finish it.

Hmmm seems like it could be fun, but yea difficult for sure. But I'll join, though I may take some creative liberty's depending on the story if that is alright
