On Coexistence

The internet, international travel and trade is becoming a bigger part of more lives everyday. Despite our growing diversity as a human race, our understanding of each others beliefs & practices is often quite primitive. Sometimes that leads to funny incidents, and sometimes more grave ones.

In an attempt to increase our understanding of all religious perspectives (whatever your practices/beliefs are when it comes to God, traditional or not) and help the world unite in it's diversity, I am currently working on bringing to life an e-magazine/blog/social media entity.

Theme: Any take on your religious perspective, featuring a story/your stream of consciousness, in your chosen writing format. Write concerning any one aspect of your religious view that is unique/misunderstood for greater relevance to the emagazine/blog.
Rules:
You can not be derogatory towards any religious perspective in your piece
    Multiple submissions are acceptable
Regardless, you are only eligible for one prize
After publishing your piece on YWS, share the link below. If you are interested to participate in the blog too, as a regular or one time contributor, simply mention below :smt003
    Word limit: 300-600
Final contest deadline: 1st September 2016
Judgement & Prizes:
The likes on your piece will constitute 50% of the marks, judgement of it's articulation by the two editors of our team will constitute 50% of the marks.
1st: 900 points + 1 review of chosen article
2nd: 600 points + 1 review of chosen article
3rd: 300 points + 1 review of chosen article

If you have any off-YWS friends who may be interested in participating in the blog, they can contact me on our.vestige@gmail.com........

Have fun! Look forward to the amazing submissions

So... we just post a piece about our religious views, link it to you and that's it?

Jeez Louise how did nobody tell me about this? This is my jam.

What type of thing are you looking for? What if I'm an agnostic defending religion from an advancement angle, since nowadays a lot of people associate religion with censorship and trying to halt progress?

@DukeofWonderland - Since it looks like you haven't gotten many submissions yet, would you consider extending the deadline? I only saw this yesterday, but to be honest I'm going to need more time to write the piece then that.

@Mea @AnarchyWolf Done done, long extension :D
@Ellstar A representation of your agnostic perspective is very welcome :D I am sure you will be able to express your disagreement with the confines of religion in a way that doesn't offend any religion and I look forward to seeing that :D
