Announcing YWS's very first Games League

What is it? The IGL is a league composed of eight teams. They will compete in a season comprised of four months of challenges. Each team will have at least four players, but each team Amy add as many as they wish, as long as each team has the same amount of players. After the four months the teams will have a single elimination playoff to see who the ultimate team is. Clubs will be set up for each of the teams.

When is it? Each contest will be announced three days in advance, and will run for two weeks. At the end of these two weeks users will be allowed to vote the works (all posted anonymously) for one week. There will then be a week while the awards are given out and the new challenges are made.

What are the challenges? Challenges will be divided into four categories: writing, art, photography, and rap/type battles. Each time, one of the challenges will be team-based, meaning at least four players will need to participate, and the other three will be individual. If more than one individual on the same team wants to compete, they may, but it is not mandatory. The challenges will be announced three days early so the users know how to prepare before the official start.

How does the winning system wok? Every work will be submitted through PM. The League's organization is run by @Messenger, @Pompadour, and @ChipsMcCoy. You can PM any of the three with your work. Then they will re-post the works anonymously and once the work weeks are over, polls will be put up for voting. Voting can be done by any user on the site. Since not everyone on a team will necessarily compete an equal amount on each team, the win amount will based on win-to-loss percentages to make it fair.

How do I join a team? To join a team simply send one of the league organizers telling them you want to join. Your name will then be drawn out of a hat for which team you will go on. Trades can be made between users if they both agree, but you can only be on one team at a time. If you do wish to make a trade, contact the league organizers and let them know.

What are the prizes? Weekly prizes will be given out individually. They will be points, gifts, and reviews. You may chose who you wish to review your work, as well as what work you want reviewed. The final winner of the season will be given a grand prize to be divided amongst the team equally.
