Plum is looking for submissions from anybody aged 13 to 19. Your submission can be a piece of writing, artwork, or anything else you've created. We're looking for a diverse group of contributors who can provide insightful new content pertaining to life as a teenager in the new millennium. The guidelines are broad because we're aiming to showcase the manifold definitions of what it is to be a teenager. Keep in mind that this is a zine, rather than a more formal publication. You retain the rights to your work, so you may feel free to submit it elsewhere after you have been featured in Plum.
  








It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
