Hey everybody!

I just started up an online literary publication and I'm looking to get some submissions to start things running! The focus is mainly on young and new writers who are looking to get their start. Here are the guidelines and how to submit:

Stories, poems, and essays will generally be returned within two months, but this could vary depending on the publication schedule. Most often submissions will be reviewed in less than a month. If a submission doesn't receive an answer in two months, feel free to contact us regarding its status. The College Review does accept submissions year round, and simultaneous submissions are encouraged. In the event that one of your submissions is published elsewhere, we request that you notify us immediately.

There are no strict guidelines when it comes to works submitted. An emphasis is placed more on short fiction, but poems and essays will also be accepted. We ask that works do not exceed 10,000 words. No more than five poems can be entered per submission, and we ask that poems do not exceed a page.

The only rights we seek are first publication rights. Your work can be taken down at any time by contacting us.

Unfortunately, writers cannot be paid for their submissions at this time.

To submit a work, send an email with a short biography and the work to be considered in an attachment to thecollegereviewsubmit@gmail.com

Head over to thecollegereview.jimdo.com if you guys want any more info.

Thanks again!
