Just saw this on Twitter and thought people on here might be interested

The Priory Group has launched a non-fiction writing competition to highlight the issue of eating disorders and other mental health conditions among young people in the UK.

The Priory Ryan McKay Prize is dedicated to the memory of Ryan McKay, a past patient who was successfully treated for an eating disorder at the Priory Hospital Glasgow but tragically died in a car accident in August 2007.

Ryan’s parents, who live in a small town in the North East of Scotland, decided to honour his memory by working with the Priory Group to raise awareness of positive mental and physical health among young people, who are most at risk of eating disorders.

The Priory Ryan McKay prize is awarded each year to the young person aged between 13 and 18 who submits the best non-fiction composition on a set topic related to mental health. The subject for 2012 is ‘What’s Eating You?’ and the winner will receive a £1,000 cash prize.

Sounds like a good opportunity and a fantastic cause

Do you have to live in the UK? And can you please post a link to more information?
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.
