Heyo, y'all! Here's another publishing opportunity. This publisher is inclusive, according to their policies page -- they also pay between $0.06 and $0.08 per word, which seems to be a bit more than the SFWA rate.

This is a challenge for new and experienced writers alike. We’re looking for short works of 1500 words or less. The form could be traditional story, flash fiction, vignettes, or poetry in any genre or sub-genre of science fiction and fantasy.

The rules are that each work must adhere to one or more of the following points:

A future with a hopeful ending.
A future in which humane values triumph or are strongly demonstrated.
A future where the protagonists struggle to improve life for others as well as themselves.
These elements can be of significant focus or lightly touched upon, but they must discernable. We’re OK with serious themes, comedic treatment, and even a cynical glance, but sardonic dystopian visions aren’t going to make the cut.

DreamForge Publishes Fiction in the Following Lengths:

Flash Fiction: 600 – 1500 words
Short Stories: 1,500 – 7,500 words
Novelettes: 7,500 – 12,000 words
Keep in mind that we can accept very few novelettes and pieces of flash fiction. We are looking mainly for short stories, and short stories under 6,000 words are preferred.

The deadline is October 31st! There's more information in this link!
