Laments of passion

Mirthful = merry, jolly
Indulge in something = find pleasure in (as in an activity you like)
Visage = face, appearance
Betwixt = old form of between, I love how it sounds, :D
Beseech = ask for or request earnestly.
Nonsense = something that has no logic, a silly thought.
