I don't have a favorite joke. At least, not one for long.
Do you like Nox Arcana, or, failing that, Magic the Gathering?

I don´t know Nox Arcana, but I know Magic the Gathering. We played it when we were around 8 -10 years old but probably not with the rules. But the pictures were nice.

What do you do on a rainy day during the time you didn´t had a phone/ laptop / Internet?

I would read or write... or run out and splash in the puddles... or just stare into the rain.
I love rain.
It gives life.

Lovely reply!

Probably my own imagination or my pets. Both of them are perfect and funny. :D

Venus is my favorite planet besides Earth. It's close, we could totally visit it and it SNOWS METAL
it's rocky, so you can like to touch it, it's pretty, and if you are in the right place in the atmosphere you can go outside without a spacesuit, as long as you have an oxygen mask
So like we could make floating cities on Venus.

question:
You get three-time travel tokens. You can now visit any three places in all of the past and the future, you cannot affect the timeline, merely visit for funzyz, where do you go?
Previously Andrewknorpp, now less sure.

Hmmm, With my first token I would travel to the beginning of time when all the dinosuars were still alive. It would be epic to see how ginormous they really were and what they actually looked like.
Then with my second token I would go to the west coast of Canada during the gold rush. I would just spend my time looking at all the trees and marveling at how much has changed since then.
Then with my last travel token I would go 100 years into the future. Just for experimental sake.

Question:
What are your thoughts on the ocean? Is it a big scary pit of nothingness that you would rather leave alone? Or is it teeming with fish that you'd like to explore?

The oceans are definitely a place I want to explore. Preferably as a mermaid of course, haha, but yes, there is nothing in the world that is scary in nature. It's just all a construct we've built up in our heads. It's just waiting to be discovered and explored.

I'm not sure what I'd do in Antarctica and have seen enough snow, so probably not! :)

I feel like my entire personality is science and fish and, while true, those are my biggest life goals -- I'm gonna go with seeing all 50 states in America. I'm currently at 30 (we can see a trend of not having been to the North in almost any capacity haha)

Which country do you most want to visit that you've never been to before?

Personally, I think Germany. The way it is described makes it sound like a beautiful place with structure and prose.

Which famous landmark would you most like to visit?

xD ha Shady this is why you don't like any of my favorite food combinations you've gotta hit the upper mid-west ;)

Here's the ones I've been to -> if I've counted right, I think I've hit 30 as well, haven't been to pretty much any of the North East ones and some states I mostly just drove through and would like to visit again. Not sure I'll ever get all 50, but at least seeing all the contiguous 48 would be nice.

I really want to visit Greece so I can visit a bunch of Greek Orthodox churches, and also Israel would be pretty awesome too for all of the Biblical sites. :)

& lehmanf's question for landmarks: Church of the Holy Sepulchre & the Sea of Galilee would pretty awesome, the stones on Easter Island would also be really cool.

Question for next person:

What kitchen appliance do you think is most like your personality?

aha! We're basically exactly opposite, then xD

I'd say a toaster oven -- versatile, quick, convenient, makes your life easier -- but not great for big jobs or cooking real meals xD

I've had to answer that question once for a truth/dare, so to stay consistent I'll say the same thing I said then! I think I most embody a wall gecko! Reasons: I'm becoming nocturnal RIP, wall geckos are really useful to the world because they eat so many spiders / bugs -> and I don't eat bugs, but what I most like to do is help people, and I like to think I do succeed in that a lot in my daily life. Wall geckos are also super fast @_@ and I feel like I'm very much always running around like a chicken without a head and jumping from thing to think. Other reasons too ~ but that's probably good enough for now!

Question for next person:
What phone apps do you think you use the most?

A spinosaurus because of its swimming ability but still be able to survive on land. :D A crocodile would also work, but I think the spinosaurus has also the right age for me.

Probably Pokémon Go and Whatsapp. I don´t have many apps and most of the ones that are already preinstalled I rarely use. I see my phone only as a way of communicating. Sometimes the Adobe Reader is useful to read some scientific papers when I´m on the train.
