I'd save the helpless friend and then bug them forever to buy me a new rabbit.
I knew rabbits couldn't swim, WHY DID SHE EAT THE INNERTUBE?! *weeps* It should have been ME! ME!

More likely the animal. But depends on who's more likely to last longer. 'Cause I would attempt to save both.

My dog can swim...

Besides, I know how to save a human better than a dog. All three of us would probably drown since I couldn't maneuver very well in the water with a scared doggie. Better stick with the friend.

Overwhelmingly in favour of the Dog. Rabbits, well, eh. Horses...no. Wild animals can probably swim anyway. Cat, probably, poor thing. Human...well, that's actually a tricky question. I mean, if it were my best friend vs. Ellie, I'd try to save them both, obviously...but I guess Ellie can swim...but then, so could my friend...

It really depends on the animal and friend involved, either way I'd feel guilty if I saved one and let the other die so I'm not voting (maybe later I might).

What if your best friend is an animal? Nowhere does it mention about any humans. Therefore you could save "both" fairly easily.

My friend, definatley. Especially if it was my little Asian-chic friend. OMG! I would go into a long depression/suicidal mode if she died. Okay, I'm getting depressed just thinking about it. Animals are replacable; boyfriends are replacable; you best friend can last a lifetime.
