So, Jennafinna sorta inspired me with this, and I want to know what you guys think your theme songs are and show me song lyrics! And if you like, and if its ok with Jennafinna I can find yours in my opinion too! But if anyone has a problem with it, I won't :D

So, pick a song that either is sorta explaining how you feel now or is just your all along theme song, one that describes who you are!

Mine all around theme song is: No Rain - Blind Melon. Its scary how close it is to me haha.

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

I like watchin' the puddles gather rain

And all I can do is just pour some tea for two

and speak my point of view

But it's not sane, It's not sane

Me please! I'm pretty good at picking other people's but I have no idea what mine should be. It changes every couple hours with my mood. Help me find one?

;) It's Jennafina. With three n's, not four. Pronounced Jenna FEE-na.

It took me waaaaay too long to come up with a cheery-ish song. xD

Fly— Hilary Duff

All your worries, leave them somewhere else,
Find a dream you can follow,
Reach for something, when there's nothing left,
And the world's feeling hollow.

Full Lyrics

Other options were- Machine (about getting over bullying), February Song (summed up in- where is that old friend gone?/ Lost in a February song/ Tell him it won't be long till he opens his eyes) and/or Now or Never (and it's no one's fault/ there's no black and white/ only you and me/ on this endless night)

Another option was "What Dreams are Made of," but it was too fairy tale for me. :P
A writer is a world trapped in a person— Victor Hugo

Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.

My theme song would be High of 75, by Relient K.

And tomorrow, I know, will be rainy at best
And the forecast, I know, is that I'll be depressed
But I'll wait outside, hoping that I'll catch sight of the sun

Basically the whole song's about how he gets depressed when the sun goes away, but when it comes back he's full of joy again, and with God's help he's staying happy and "sunny with a high of 75," and he's enjoying life because he's "happy to be alive." It explains how I get all the time, and always helps to lift me up. :D

psychopaths and mystery writers.

I'm the kind that pays better.

Washed by the water by Needtobreathe

Spoiler! :
Daddy was a preacher
She was his wife
Just tryin to make the world a little better
You know, shine a light

People started talking
Just to hear their own voice
Those people tried to accuse my father
Say he made the wrong choice

Though it might be painful
You know that time will always tell
Those people have long since gone
My father never failed

Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

Even when the Earth crumbles under my feet
Even when the ones I love, turn around and crucify me
I won't ever ever let you down
won't fall, won't fall, won't fall as long as you're around me
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

^^That is my life in a song!^^
Star light; star bright,
It is time to take flight.
Off I go through the dark of night.
All my hopes and dreams in sight.

Jenna, I'm not sure how accurate I am with this, but I've read your blog a few times already and I think I have a pretty good sense of you.

To me, you seem to look at the bright side of most situations. Even if its bad and your upset you look to the solution and hope for it. I think that's protrayed really well by The Older I Get - Skillet:

The older I get
Will I get over it?
It's been way too long for the times we missed
I didn't know then it would hurt like this but I think
The older I get
Maybe I'll get over it

By the way, I am SO sorry for mis-spelling your user!

Geez, my own theme song...well, I've got so many to choose from, but I've gotta pick "The Extremist" by Joe Satriani. You want some lyrics? Well, there aren't any in this song; It's a rock instrumental piece. No words, everything expressed through drums, some kickass guitars, a harmonica, and a bass. Why do I need words when I can listen to the raw emotion that usually surrounds them?

Here, take a listen if you'd like;

Rock on, everybody, and have a lucky day.
"I'm fearless in my heart
They will always see that in my eyes
I am the passion, I am the warfare
I will never stop
Always constant,
Accurate,
Intense"
"The Audience is Listening", by Steve Vai

A theme song for me? Well, there are a lot of choices and if I had to pick two, they'd be Young London, by Angels & Airwaves, or Holiday From Real by Jack's Mannequin.

Lyrics?

Suit up, boys
Let's ride, it's the weekend
Get down, girls
And dance with your best friend
Show yourselves, and take what you ask for
Let it go, no fights on the dance floor

The night gets better, but wait, so wonderful
They move together and dance so colorful
And kiss like flowers that breathe with pheromones
Songs get louder, it feels so natural - Angels & Airwaves

But if you left it up to me
Everyday would be
A holiday from real
We'd waste our weeks
Beneath the sun
We'd fry our brains
And say it's so much fun out here
But when it's all over
I'll come back for another year
- Jack's Mannequin "Holiday From Real"
"Can't stop, won't stop. I must be dreaming."

My theme song is "F*** you very much" By Eric Idle

"F- you very much, oh FCC
F- you very much for fining me
Five thousand buks a f-
I'm really out of luck
That's more than Hidi Fleiss was charging me!
So F- you very much the FCC
For proving hat free speech jsut isn't free..."

Here's my favorite part

"so F- you very much oh Mr. Bush
For heroically sitting on your tush
For Haliburton, Enron all the companies who fail
Let's send them a clear signal and stick Martha straight in jail
She's an uppity rich b- and at least she isn't male
So F- you all so very much!"

It's irreverent, satirical, and somewhat annoying, just like me!
Take off your vest, you look like Aladdin!

"Hero" by Nickelback.

Lyrics
I am so high. I can hear heaven.
I am so high. I can hear heaven.
Oh but heaven, no heaven dont hear me.

And they say that a hero can save us.
Im not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

And what about JustDance?
I'd recommend Just Dance by Lady Gaga

Wow! This is a hard one, haha. My theme song is usually just whatever song I'm in love with at the moment. But one that is all me? Ooher! >.<

Irish, can you help me out? *puppyeyes* You know me!

Oh, wait! here's one that could work!

In The Backseat, by Arcade Fire
Spoiler! :
I like the peace
In the backseat
I don't have to drive
I don't have to speak
I can watch the countryside
And i can fall asleep

My family tree's
Losing all it's leaves
Crashing towards the driver's seat
The lightning bolt had enough heat
To melt the street beneath your feet

Alice died
In the night
I've been learning to drive
My whole life
My whole life
I've been learning
Is he dancing with a little boy in spandex?!

Savin' Me by Nickelback. It reflects my life, I guess. Always stuck or something. Anyways, the lyrics....

Spoiler! :
"Savin' Me"

Prison gates won't open up for me
On these hands and knees I'm crawlin'
Oh, I reach for you
Well I'm terrified of these four walls
These iron bars can't hold my soul in
All I need is you
Come please I'm callin'
And oh I scream for you
Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin'

[Chorus:]
Show me what it's like
To be the last one standing
And teach me wrong from right
And I'll show you what I can be
Say it for me
Say it to me
And I'll leave this life behind me
Say it if it's worth saving me

Heaven's gates won't open up for me
With these broken wings I'm fallin'
And all I see is you
These city walls ain't got no love for me
I'm on the ledge of the eighteenth story
And oh I scream for you
Come please I'm callin'
And all I need from you
Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin'

[Chorus]

Hurry I'm fallin'

All I need is you
Come please I'm callin'
And oh, I scream for you
Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin', I'm fallin'

[Chorus]

Hurry I'm fallin'

Or Kryptonite by 3doorsdown. This also sorta reflects my life...and where I fear it may end up.

Spoiler! :
"Kryptonite"

I took a walk around the world
To ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
But I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon

I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah

I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be
Something to do with you
I really don’t mind what happens now and then
As long as you’ll be my friend at the end

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well, will you be
There a-holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite

You called me strong, you called me weak,
But still your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times
I never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head,
If not for me then you'd be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well,
Will you be there a-holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well, will you be there
Holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
Yeah!!

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well,
Will you be there a-holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
Yeah!!
