I honestly don't think we're all on the same page when it comes to crumpets...I've probably never had one. I think of posh old ladies having tea and crumpets. Whatever crumpets are, exactly...

NO! We have muffins as well, and they are totally different.
We should rename them crumpets. English muffins is just stupid. Plus I never really liked them. But that's mainly because a)they weren't toasted and b)I hated everything when I last had one ages ago.
