I always pretend I'm in the middle of some sort of superhero battle...it makes long train rides and walks a lot more interesting...very bad for crossing the road though.

I get motion sickness if I read the road signs so I imagine I control a fireball that can only land on people, cars and grass. I've been doing the same trick since I was 9 (and I thought the Horror genre would scare me).
Everyone is attracted by the number 100. Strange fact, but it seems neater, tidier to our brain. Whereas when shopping you can’t pay cash R9,99, but you can pay R10. That just being an example of how even one cent makes something’s price seem a lot lower.
