Welcome to the YWS Hunger Games!


I am fishsashimi. I am creating a Hunger Games scenario for all of YWS. Now, I need your help to finish it up and select a few tributes...

NOTE: Only 24 tributes can be used. Very much sorry...

I need your help to create events and scenarios within this hunger games simulator, preferably YWS-themed! In order to do this, I need you to follow instructions on formatting the event. I will provide code as well.

Event: (Player1) doesn’t fufill their promise of writing a chapter of their book. They are tormented by others, and die of humiliation.

NOTE: The computer randomly selects people. Putting in (Player1), (Player2), ect. helps the computer determine where to put names.

Now for prizes:


5th Place: a free review
4th Place: a free review and 200 points
3rd Place: 3 free reviews and 400 points
2nd Place: 5 free reviews and 800 points
1st Place: 10 free reviews and 1000 points

FAQ


Do I have to write a scenario to be a tribute. Do I have to be a tribute to write scenarios?

Of course not! Scenarios are completely optional. I would just really appreciate it if you made some.

How do the reviews work?

Simple! You PM/Leave a message on my wall asking me to review your piece. I will keep track of your reviews to make sure you don’t try to pull one on me :wink:
How will we figure out our progress?

I will keep a separate thread where I post results and progress. A day and night will be posted every day until we have a winner.

Fatal Event? :No
Event:(Player1) led their team for Review Day. The team was defeated by the opposing team at the last moment. (Player2),(Player3),(Player4),(Player5), and (Player6) were also a part of the losing team. They will need to write more reviews to continue in the YWS Hunger Games and defend the honor of their Districts.

Fatal Event? :Yes
Event:(Player1) decided to review a very long YWS novel, they forgot to get up for breaks to eat and subsequently starved to death. They will be remembered for their determination.

Event:(Player1) and (Player2) formed an allegiance in a double-trouble-writing huddle. They decided to explore the YWS archives, but were unfortunately trampled by a herd of dancing elephants. They perished together.

Event:(Player1) was gaining courage in the arena, picking fights with several participants. They decided to bring their skills to the Debate and Discussion forums, but forgot to read The Rules or Snoink's article on Fallacies. They, along with their arguments, mysteriously disappeared.

Fatal Event? :No
Event:(Player1) and (Player2) worked together to review (Player3)'s work out of the Green Room. Such collaborative acts of kindness are rarely seen in the arena, though they are common on YWS. Both participants were given swords by the Commander of the Green Room to assist them as they continue to battle in the arena. Yay for teamwork!

Event: (Player1) wanted to show their wit and bravery, so they challenged (Player2) to a Review Duel. Both participants littered their walls with taunts and mocking, but by the end of the night, neither had any reviews to show for their efforts. They were kicked off the leader board and the cannons roared signaling their demise.

Event: The Knights caught and slaughtered Tributes X, Y, Z for not reviewing in the Green Room regularly. No one heard their screams.

Event: Tribute X forgot their YWS password, and since the systems were malfunctioning, they were unable to progress any farther that day.

Event: During an unexpected trip to the Green Room for reviews and possible sanctuary, all the unreviewed works swarmed the Tributes, suffocated them, and pulled them under.

This has a "winners Announced" tag, but I think I saw an ad for it in this week's Squills - did the winning and announcing happen elsewhere, or is the tag merely a glitch?
