There are a few different possible outcomes of being bitten: a) you become a lycanthrope; b) you die; and the least common, c) you fight off the wolf blood and remain human (or halfling or gnome, depending on which you are playing. The first usually takes a maximum of a couple weeks and a minimum of a day. The average is about 7 days before you succumb to the wolf blood. The second usually takes a bit longer- you’re dying from rejecting the wolf blood but being unable to actually get rid of it. It generally takes a couple weeks. The last is around a month and very, very rare. Avren is the only known human to survive a worg/werewolf bite and stay human.

That would be my description of how lycanthropy works in my world.

Du lille lur," Tord snaps at Alex.

"Hvad har jeg gjort?", Alex responded, deeply confused. "Jeg sverger at jeg ikke gjorde noe galt. Wow, dansk og norsk er så like."

Read this on @AlexOfLight 's wall and didn't know what it meant. Really need to start learning some other languages

Yet none of that is the problem. They all hurt, fresh and unique pains I have learned to know well, but they aren’t the worst. She knows. And the knowledge of that is what transforms my tortuous life into hell.
Somewhere in my crazed journey through my inner thoughts, I get lost. The memories that swim before me only to be reject when they bring fresh pain lose their clear edge. Sleep smudges the corners and they slowly dissolve into chaos. I let them leave. Slowly, I fall asleep.

Cair Andros not Minas Tirith. It went Cair Andros, Minas Tirith, Osgiliath, then wounded on Pelennor, then Minas Tirith again.

Me talking about Faramir in some LotR stuff. Was trying to figure out about what happened from the time he met with Sam and Frodo to the time he was wounded by the Southrons and the Nazgul.
