Hmm.. just five? That's a challenge since anime tends to be so good!
5. Terror in Resonance (Zankyou no Terror) http://myanimelist.net/anime/23283/Zankyou_no_Terror There's so much action, and it's almost impossible not to finish it in one go! I loved the characters since they were so well developed.
4.Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) http://myanimelist.net/anime/10620/Mirai_Nikki_(TV) A very dramatic survival game and an interesting relationship between the two main characters. It was one of the first anime I have ever watched.
2.Death Note http://myanimelist.net/anime/1535/Death_Note I think everybody knows about this anime...And there really isn't much to say. From beginning to end it was an unpredictable rollercoaster and this is probably what made we enjoy it so much.
1.Monster http://myanimelist.net/anime/19/Monster From the very first episode, I knew this anime would be something spectacular. It's been 2 months since I have finished it, and I still can't help but think about it. "Monster" is incredibly underrated, but nevertheless, probably one of the greatest anime in the police/thriller/mystery/psychological horror genre.
If I could add an anime at number six, it would probably be Attack on Titan. I'm also halfway through watching Psycho-Pass, and I think it possibly deserves to be on my 'top' list too.
You can guess what genres are my favourite from this since it's rather obvious...If anybody has some suggestions of anime with similar themes, please let me know!
