You can just watch this vid for the rules. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe1a1wHxTyo
But basically., you try to top the other ppl on the site. For example:
Person #1: In those days we were glad to have the price of a cup o' tea.

Person #2: A cup o' cold tea.

Person #3: Without milk or sugar.

Person#4: Or tea.

And so on. :D So I'll start:

We used to live in a house with no air-conditioning and a cold meal only once a day!
"The Gospel is like a caged lion, It does not need to be defended, it simply needs to be let out of it's cage."

Once a day? you were lucky. We used to get a frozen meal, once a week on a Sunday, and then it were only a mouthful.
You know that studded leather armour in films? Nobody wore that. I mean, how would metal studs improve leather armour?

Heh, you're lucky. We used to get a meal every three days, but it was so burnt and distorted that you couldn't possibly eat it. We starved for a while but eventually lived off of the local rat population.

Inferno, Canto 27, l 61-66.

Hah, rats? We never got meals, and there were no rats. We existed on insects alone.

We relied on the local rat population to find insects to eat. We were too disgusted to eat rats. More often than not, the rats didn't even come close to finding insects, so we starved.

Insects? You were lucky. We were vegetarians! When I said a cold meal, I meant that we picked leaves off the trees for supper! Cold, prickly and wet leaves! :smt011

Wet leaves?? You were lucky...back in my day the sun had scorched the earth so that water was a foreign word to us. At night, we slept on naught but brush and ate the worms in the ground for supper.
Looking at the hands of the time we've been given
If this is all we got and we gotta start thinking
If every second counts on a clock that's ticking
Gotta live like we're dying...

Supper? We almost starved to death before I suggested we eat sticks and gravel!
