This is a list of 10 favorites so that we can learn about each other. I am relatively new here, and would like to get to know all of you. I will begin with mine.

Did this about a year and a half ago, let's see what's changed...

Favourite book: (I have three) Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, Goliath by Scott Westerfeld and The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater.

Yup, that hasn't changed.

Favourite author: Maggie Stiefvater. Someday her writing will kill me

On this past me and current me agree.

Favourite quote: That's a tricky one. Probably "Fate is like an unpopular resturant with strange little waiters who bring you things you never asked for and often don't like" by Lemony Snicket as well as the one in my signature

Still a tricky one. Love the quote I had, but I think that now my favourite is “You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.” Oh- and “It's like being in love, discovering your best friend.” from Code Name Verity.

Favourite musician/band/artist: Lunatics on Pogosticks, Rizzle Kicks

I still love LOP and Rizzle Kicks are up there, but I'd have to say my favourite band these days is Franz Ferdinand.

Favourite movie: The second Back to the Future movie (I want my hoverboard)

I still want my hoverboard (AND IT'S OCTOBER 2015 RIGHT NOW LIKE WHAT), but I think Dirty Dancing has become my favourite.

Favourite TV show: Doctor Who, Elementary, Grimm

All shows that I really like (even if I am horrifically behind on Elementary and Grimm), but aside from maybe Doctor Who, assuming this seasons continues to be as good as the first few episodes have been), I wouldn't list them as favourites. Buffy's probably my top show, and I recently got into Please Like Me which is pretty cool.

Favourite food: Fajitas

No arguments here

Favourite beverage: Real apple juice

Hmm, I think I have to go with elderflower cordial instead.

Favourite thing to do: Read, write, listen to music

Nothing's changed there.

Apparently I managed to miss 'Favourite travel destination' last time around, which is really hard to narrow down, considering it could be somewhere I haven't been, so I'll keep it vague and say anywhere with really pretty, old buildings and cobblestones and a sense of history.

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
— Terry Pratchett, Discworld: Equal Rites
