Hey,
So, I recently read this book called Delirium by lauren Oliver, and it was amazing. It is dubbed science fiction because in the book the world is different. they have catorgerized love as a disease, and once you hit 18 years of age you have a procedure done where they cut into your brain and remove the part that makes us capable of having feelings. I generally hate anything science fiction related, but I fell in love with this book. The author makes her characters so real, and the ending was so sad. I feel like there should definitely be a seuel to this book.
Has anyone else every read it?

I"ve been debating reading this book, but I too am iffy when it comes to science fiction. I'm more into fantasy and paranormal. But I do love when authors make their characters so believable. I may have to go get my NOOK from my bedroom and buy it! :D

To me it seemed to be mostly realistic fiction besides the whole Love is a disease and the society is government based and limited to what they can do. The ending just killed me though, but maybe thats because I love rooting for the underdog. I def. recommend it!
