Thanks, at least you looked into it. Any recommendations on some great books would be appreciated.
Don't tell me the Twilight series, I have read them all!

Have you read any Anne Rice? Her series is huge, and much more entertaining than Twilight ^_~ The first book is Interview With The Vampire. I also have read a few of the Cassie Palmer books by Karen Chance. Not as great as Anne Rice, a bit more like Laurel K. Hamelton, but still interesting! The first book in that series is Touch the Dark. A more literary, less blood sucking book is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I thought it was beautiful! It's a long read, but completely worth it.

Or you could always go old school and read Dracula. It's great!

Anne Rice is evil. I'd recommend Laurell K. Hamilton's series about Anita Blake. The first book is called "Guilty Pleasures." The books get pretty sexualized farther along in the series, but the first few are fantastic, and the rest are good, too, if you can handle mature content. At sixteen, I bet you can.
Frylock, please, no books! I can't read; I'm not a loser!

"In The Forests of the Night" and others by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Quick readings, too.

Try the Saga of Darren Shan. It's a twelve-book series about vampires, but he portrays them differently to the classic style.
The corpses are piled high around. Blood carpets the floor and flames scorch away the last remnants of humanity. The screams of the damned echo in my head. I smile. I am home.

Thanks alot! I really love to read and thickness doesn't bother me. I'm a speed reader. I read Breaking Dawn in less than twelve hours. I've heard of these, and I will definately look into them! Anne Rice... I've heard that name before... oh yeah, I think I watched a movie about it. The ending anyways. Thats got to be awesome...

"Halfway to the Grave" by Jeaniene Frost. Very, very good vampire book. The second tome is out, but it isn't nearly as fantastic as the first... Hmm.

If it doesn't have to be vampire....
Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
It's a series with four in it currently. It's a pretty fast read I think.
I have three favorite series that I can not possibly rank b/c I like different things about each of them...Twilight, Harry Potter, and Maximum Ride.
James Patterson is awesome I haven't read anything by him that I didn't like, so really anything by him will be good.
It's action and really, really, really good. :D
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

I want to beta read your novel!
