It's not a media revival if we don't allow ourselves to talk about the most soothing and unsettling in-for-out reach Podcast of international fame.

Welcome to Night Vale has been taking the internet by storm since 2012 and inspiring a sub-culture of subverting tropes and tossing anti-jokes like candy at a parade no one should be allowed to attend.

This discussion...I apologize, I'm listening to Cecil right now.

What's your favorite recurring character? Segment?

Did you cry at the departure of the Glow Cloud?

What. Do. You. Think. About. Cecil? and his perfect voice

Carlos is obviously my stolen heart and his perfect locks. The dogpark segments are always nice. Or sports segments. Cecil is so sassy about his sports!

I totally cried at the departure of the glow cloud. And I have Cecil's speech written down to remind myself of it.

I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, PEOPLE. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.
I am a forest fire and an ocean, and I will burn you just as much
as I will drown everything you have inside.

I need to sleep BUT NIGHT VALE IS MORE IMPORTANT.

I started Night Vale last August, just after joining the site. I finished it that same August.

It was kind of a binge.

I really love Josie's Angels, and I can't pinpoint why. I'm also a big fan of the Children's Fun Fact Science Corner.

I'm sorry, but I really don't like the weather. Does anyone, actually?

To be honest, I didn't care when the Glow Cloud left. At that point, I didn't understand how amazing it was. Now, I hail it daily.

Cecil just gets a heart. No words.

It's so hard to pick a favorite character! I think it would have to be Cecil. He's so funny, and I love how different hr can act from one moment to the next. And his Carlos fanboying sessions are always fun to listen to. So maybe my favorite segment is the fanboying about Carlos ones? :P

I haven't gotten far enough to see the glow cloud leave - what will the education system do without it - but I think it's a shame that it wants to leave Night Vale on its own.

As I mentioned before, I love Cecil to bits and pieces. He's such a unique narrator. <3

Spoiler! :
But the Glow Cloud came back, so it wasn't a big deal anyway. :)

I love Welcome to Nightvale! I too started it and finished it in a month. I await eagerly for every episode.
I'm not a huge fan of the weather, but I think it's cool they do that.
Not a big fan of the presidential race of hyrum McDaniels and the old woman who secretly lives in your house, nor the resulting trial. they went on for fast too long. I did like the desert otherworld bit, but carlos was gone for too long.
I liked the running gag with killing off interns. I also really like the cat in the bathroom whose name I can't recall. And of course Cecil is just ♡♡♡♡♡
Instead, he said, Brother! I know your hunger.
To this, the Wolf answered, Lo!

Frost Lark News is based off this, isn't it, @Sheyren?

Have any of you bought any of their books or gone to see them on tour? I'm obsessed with the live poem reading of Condos. I would link it, but spoilers. ;)

I bought Mostly Void, Partially Stars. Also, in the latest episode they released info on their new book, which I'll probably be buying.

By the way, who is caught up on the series, as in heard all 104 episodes?

I'm at 13:27 on 103 and each time I go to finish and (now) move on to the 104th episode, something comes up. It is not meant to be yet.

Okay, so I finally dove into 104 and thought it was essentially the best episode since quite a while before the break??? (Certain events omitted.)

Even the weather was decent.

AND the stinger poem was gorgeous and the sentiment was whelming.

What did you all think? I quite think that their focus is redoubled on the podcast now that It Devours is completed and that the quality will continue improving.

Without spoiling, I will agree that 104 was a great episode because it evoked emotion in me. The last few episodes haven't been as great as they could be, but now that it has been explained they were writing a book, it makes sense.

I definitely want the new book. Like, desperately.

Oh, and this recent episode announced Alice Isn't Dead 2, which got me excited. Anyone else listen to AID?
