"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
"By the living princess," he muttered. "This isn't good. My brother's going to end up being a reclusive hermit and Leonor--oh, Leonor." He rubbed his face. "What should I do?"

She stays silent, looking back down at the flames.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
James looked over to Tasha, and then back at Tavis. He didn't know what to tell them. He didn't know how to explain their situation. He didn't know how to get them back home.
"Well first, we have to survive through this storm, however long it lasts."
Oh yeah, for technicality's sake, I guess I should clarify that this storyline, for Tavis, happens before the storyline of Rin and Kilian in The Sea. Since, you know, the revolution is still going on here while it's over in the other RP.
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
Tavis nodded, taking a deep breath. "Right. I suppose that's in order before anything else." He found a comfortable place to sleep, but when he started to shiver he sat up again. "Do either of you have a spare blanket? I would have brought one myself, but . . . you know."

"I might," Tasha grabs her saddlebag and drags it over, digging through it.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
James, looking over at Tavis with tired eyes, opened up his blanket with one arm, gesturing for Tavis to huddle up for the time being. He wasn't exactly keen on cuddling with a stranger, but it was about survival, not comfortably remaining within his normally established social boundaries.
"Oh," said Tavis. He didn't relish the idea of sharing a blanket with someone he'd just met. How much would either he or Mark be able cover themselves with, anyways? He desperately hoped Agrona had an extra.

For the love of Cynbel, Tavis had had a feeling this would happen. He stifled a groan. When it came to survival, he supposed he couldn't be picky.
Think of it as if you're sharing a blanket with Innel, like you used to, he thought to himself. Is it that hard to pretend that Mark is your brother for the night?
Yes, it is. Tavis sighed and went over. "So sorry about this," he said, hoping that the shadows were dark enough to cover the embarrassment on his face.

"This is a practical choice, not a preferred one. I'd rather you not freeze to death, even if you are a stranger," James replied, throwing half of the blanket over Tavis's back. "So don't apologize for the weather."
Tasha chuckles dryly, amused. "Here, Tavis, take mine. At least then we can huddle with someone we know." She tosses him the blanket and gets under the blanket next to James, Wolfsbane flopping down on top of them.
