She lets out a primal snarl, brandishing her glistening scarlet blade, the blood dripping from it's tip for a moment before she charges him bringing her sword down in an overhead swing to force him to block. As he does so, she takes the opening to plunge her 12-inch melee dagger in a diagonal stab that goes from between the upper ribs, through his lung, and finally piercing his heart.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
The henchman, thoroughly dead, sputtered and fell to the ground. Romano stared wide eyed at this fallen protectors as his hands and feet were bound and Cowell threw him over the side of his horse, throwing and tying him to the saddle like a sack of potatoes.
James looked away from the bloodied figure, and grabbed his newly acquired horse - patting it and calming it down.
Cowell, with his bounty safely secured, looked over to the two with a smile.
"Well! Now we just have to safely deliver him to the nearest sheriff! It's a few miles out, so we ought to get moving, set up camp, and make the rest of the trip tomorrow. Cause you know, either way, we don't want to stay here."
Tasha nods, looking over to James for affirmation.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

The three travelers made their trek through the forest, making their way farther and farther from the scene at Sailor's rock, and following Cowell's map to the nearest town. Cowell travelled in silence for some time - seemingly only for as long as Romano seemed to be putting up a fight - but as soon as he was resigned to his fate, Cowell began to chatter uncontrollably.
"Hey T-uhhh... Matt? Matt, right?" Cowell stuttered, trying to remember James's agreed upon alias for the time being.
"Lucas," James growled.
"Oh! Yeah!! Lucas!" Cowell smiled and gave an airy laugh, turning to look at Romano sitting on the back on his horse. "I'm terrible with names, you know. Couldn't remember them if I tried."
Romano glared at Cowell. "Do you always chat up your bounties?" He asked spitefully.
Cowell nodded proudly. "Yes!" Then he looked to Tasha. "Oh hey, by the way. You're a really skilled fighter. You do stuff like that for a living?"
"No, I lost my eye tripping over a chair," she answers dryly, the hint of a growl in her voice.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
"We get along because we almost died together," she retorts. "Now are you going to shut that flapping mouth or am I?"
((Not in a good mood, apparently))
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

Cowell seemed resigned to silence for the next few hours, but James could visibly notice the level of self control Cowell was exerting and could see it wearing on him. Cowell was a social creature, and he would need to speak up again.
As they reached the top of a small hill, they could look out and see a small town in the far distance. The sun was beginning to set in the sky, and it looked like it would be time to settle down soon. Cowell picked out a spot - a nook in the heart of an large arched rock - one of the larger ones among a conglomeration of large boulders at the top of the hill.
"Welp! I guess we'll call it a day, then!" Cowell announced as he hopped off his horse. "We'll sleep in shifts - cause ya'll know it's stupid not to out here. So! Who wants first shift!" Cowell looked down at Romano jokingly, "Obviously not you, hahaha."
She hesitates, not liking the idea of having to trust Cowell to watch over them in the night.
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
"I will," James replied as he hopped off his horse. He looked over to Tasha, recognizing her hesitation. Briefly, he whispered to her in passing, "I won't sleep during his watch."
"Wonderful!" Cowell smiled and nodded, before untying Romano from the horse and plopping the man on the ground. He dragged Romano to a tree and tied him to it (though his arms and legs were already bound, you could never be too sure).

"Half," is her murmured reply. "I'll take the morning watch then."
