I see so many profiles with funky GIF animations as pictures, I just want to ask - where'd you guys get them from? I tried searching the internets, but it wasn't of much use:( Also, most are too big - over 100kb.
Help? I want my profile to look cool too:D
thanks
xx polly

I'm pretty sure most .gifs are found on tumblr. But I can't say for sure.

Also, the size limit doesn't matter! If you just use the [img] tags, then you can upload a pic of any size. I'll just use an image taken from Google as an example...

Code: Select all
[img]http://www.animalwallpapers.in/images/wallpapers/baby_tigers-965390.jpeg[/img]

Becomes:

Image

The principle is: put the url of the image you want to use (you can isolate it by right-clicking and selecting "open image in new tab") between the [img] tags.

Hope that helps. :)

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
