Just recently I uploaded lyrics of my own content called "I hate Latife" and "Latife" in the lyrics forum. Please can both of those works be deleted, because I do not want them to be available anymore, I do not want to get in trouble for typing those works. Contact me ASAp whoever deletes the post, please they MUST be taken off the site.

I don't think you can delete literary items is the thing. If I were you, I would just clear out all the text in your post, and write, "Deleted."

The reason you can't just delete literary items is because the people that review them put work into those reviews, and if you delete the item, the reviews are gone too.

Also, why did you submit THIS as a literary item? You should have posted in a forum, or something...

Blift,

Works cannot be deleted, but you can simply use the edit feature at the bottom right of your post to remove all the content and change the name of the title.

You can also lock the topic you created by editing the post and scrolling down, then selecting the checkbox to lock the topic.
[Griffinkeeper] 10:45 pm: The guard appears "We have weasels now!"
[Firearris] 10:45 pm: askes the guard for the weasel!
[Griffinkeeper] 10:45 pm: The guard gives Firearris the Weasel.
[Firearris] 10:46 pm: aquires the weasel and renames it "Cat"

Take that, Lumi.

Like the others have said before, you cannot delete your works. The final option you have is a clever little trick.

1. Go to "My Profile" under the "My YWS" tab on the main bar.
2. Click on "My Portfolio" on your profile.
3. Click on "Edit Portfolio". It's a blue link.
4. Find the piece you want "deleted" and look beneath it--there's a blue link that says "Make ____ Invisible to Others". Click that.
5. Enjoy your invisible post!

It's easier to come up with new stories than it is to finish the ones you already have. I think every author would feel that way.
