I'm not so sure if my song If I Were a DC Writer is published. It's already on iTunesand other online stores. Is this considered published? I am not so sure. If it is so, is this alright? Or should I delete it? Personally, I want it to stay in the lyrics section so I can promote it to my friends here on YWS. I'm just not so sure.

Are you signed to a label or is it independently up there? If you're signed, you'd have to talk with whoever represents you about whether or not that label has an issue with that. If you're independent, you're representing yourself so you can decide what you do with your lyrics.

But either way, when you think about it, they're just the lyrics. You can find lyrics to any song anywhere. It won't affect the purchase of your song. :)
