Hey guys I have a quick question about posting things on Lyrics. Would a Ballad belong in this section? Is it considered a lyric? If not where would I post one?
Any response would be great,
Hydey. :D

There's a place under poetry that talks about poems that tell a story. I know because I just recently posted a ballad. Just go to read/write, sumit your work, and then Narritive poetry. You are talking about something that tells a story right, because if I remember correctly from last year that was what a ballad was.

Hey
Stargazer is right...it really depends what your Ballad is about, I would either put it under lyric poetry, or just under lyrics, but if it tells a story..then you can get away with it, but remember whatever section you put it in, people are going to judge it as if it is that kind of literature.
For example, if you put your ballad in a poetry section, no matter what it is, they will still judge it as a poem, so make sure it's clearly specified what it is!

Even if you post it in the wrong section, chances are a mod will notice it and move the work if it's in the wrong place. :) So it's not that much to worry about.
