If any of you have seen my dragons before, you can tell how much my style has changed. This is because I have decided to stop ignoring dragon anatomy to better my art. So I practiced by drawing a random dragon.

Spoiler! :
Many people get this confused: Just because a dragon's scales are not drawn out does not mean they are not there. In fact, many artists don't draw scale for scale, but they are still present ;)

Wow that's really good! How long did it take?
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

Great, the head seems a bit too large and the tail slightly small-ish to me. And I should be pretty well acquainted with dragon anatomy (xD)

Really cool! You're the best dragon drawer I know x)

Only critique - the neck looks a little slim and the head seems like it would be top-heavy. I would also work on adding in some detail to the eyes. You could really make those look intense.

Really impressive that it only took you an hour, though!

That looks quite awesome if I do say so myself.

Does its head look big due to the big crest?

I don't think it's the crest that does it... It might just be all the rippling lines you added on its face that remind me of muscles. Maybe if you softened those lines, the face would look lighter, smoother, and less rocky like a boulder. I like how you added all the muscle tone to the arms and legs, but there seems to be twice as much in the facial area.

It was a really picky comment though x)

You do realize that this a good drawng, but if you have ever played the game Neverwinter Night 2, those lizard things in that game look exactly like that dragon lol.

That's pretty cool, though I have never heard of that game before.

And not really, I want to go into the medical field, and art will be a hobby.
