Hello all!

Welcome to the Art & Photography Forum! Some of you may be sitting there thinking "I have some photos and some art, should I post them here?" Well, first ask yourself these questions:

-Is my picture art or just a random photograph? Or if I showed it to a friend, would they note its artistry or shrug it off as another photo?

-Am I posting this because I want critiques to better my photography or artistic skills?

If you answered 'yes' to these questions, then this forum is for you! If you answered 'no', it is not. The purpose of the Art & Photography forum is the same as the writing forums, to get critiques to better your skills.

If the photos you are thinking of posting are really just random photos you want to share, we have threads such as "Post Your Pic" and "Post Your Pets Pic" for this purpose.

Please keep the Art & Photography true to it's purpose!

Thanks!

Don't attach it. Upload the photos to an image hosting site and copy the provided image codes into the text box. Then you can have more then one photo in your post. :D

If you're unsure as to how to do this, just PM me.

This is a good idea yeah, but why on a site called- 'the young writers society,' ?
Another convicted serial killer is reported to have found God. Which may be great for the serial killer, but we’ve yet to hear what God thinks about it

Why not?

And besides, if the site was called 'The young writers, young artists and young photographers society' it would be a bit of a mouthful...
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Question: I'm in the very beginning stages of writing and illustrating a graphic novel. Where could I post it on YWS, considering that 1) it would be both literary and graphic, and 2) the file would probably be huge? There used to be an "advanced critique" forum around a few years ago that probably would have been perfect for it, but I'm assuming that it has since been removed.

We still have advanced critiques! Right here. ^^ You can also use the Other forum. Other is for stuff that doesn't fit into any category, so I'd suggest putting it there and poking around for requests to get in-depth feedback.

This section is really only for posting creative pieces that you're looking to have reviewed. But by all means have a thread for sharing art tips in the lounge - I think that's a great idea :)
