I think it's pretty cool, but I think I would actually rather see the whole picture in focus. You can do a depth picture and still have it completely in focus just as well as you can having half of it in focus. But, the shot is pretty cool. I'm not so fond of the table or whatever that is in the background, though. So I'd say 5.5.

I like how it's focused but I don't think it was captured all that well. Call it a personal preference. I think that if you had showed more of the shoe's toe that might have been better... So I'll give it a seven.

i like the angle of the shoes, and the out of focus in the back.
the only thing that i found that distracts is the table legs in the back. it has a tendency to place the photograph in a home, and not left to the imagination.

i rate it a 9.0

Well I don't like it.
1/10
Its to plane. You should either take a picture with really funky shoes or add something in a photo programme after the picture.

I agree with Gwen on it being too plain but the angle is neat. Also, her suggestion to Photoshop it is a good one--you could make them electric-blue or something radical like that. :P
Anyways, I don't exactly like how half the shoe is cut off, so:
6.5/10
everything i loved
became everything i lost.

I liked the focus, kind of movie like.

But... why a photo of a pair of shoes? I don't get it.

8/10.
