I love this. The detail is equisite and your choice and use of colour is brilliant. I particularly like the horns and the texture of the fur but that's a pretty background too and generally, I think it's perfect. You've used an interesting angle, good tone and shading and basically I can't find anything to fault so excellent work!

I really like this too. It is pretty much flawless. The onlything I wasn't crazy about was all the white. I know they're hihglights, I just thought they should be a little more blended. Of course, It's been a while since I saw a sheep. :)

Way cool.

This is great work, you are a fabulous artist. I commend you on your work. How long did this take you?

I love it! It's great. Like stated previously the detail is great, the texture work is amazing, and the porportions are spectacularly done.

I would also mention the white as the only thing to be critiqued, but I like the white in the color. The only areas is looks a little off are on the left bottom where it's like white hair coming off and the lightness of the hair on it's back is just a little too light. Having said that though, if neither one of those were touched it would still be a great piece of work. They aren't things that are going to make or break it!

Great job! ;)

Whee, that's so well done! It looks really pro. The only thing I'd say is that the pciture is a bit out of focus.

Wow. This is spectacular. How old are you? Fourteen?!!?!?

The ram looks very life like and you have a very good blend of colours which compliment each other nicely. Good job!

Spot on. I like the detailing and the way you made the ram look "fuzzy". This must have taken ages to complete. The only thing I have to say against it is that there is an awful lot of white in the fur. I know those are highlights, but there are an awful lot of them. Unless this ram just woke up after a bitter frost... but good job. Keep up the good work.

Very nice! The play of the highlights and the texture of the horns is wonderful. It looks like there's some blue in there in the fur and along with the highlights, and that's cool -- a lot of times people will paint with the colors they "know", rather than the subtle other shades that are there. The only thing that's really wanting is the background - a contrasting color, or a lighter one, might do wonders. Sometimes a very dull complementary color [or just a color that doesn't much appear, or appears only as an accent] can make the subject "pop". Your background almost does this, but it is just close enough to the shades in the ram to still blend a bit.

Very good color and detail! I know everyone else is saying that but...well, I always like compliments. The texture of the fur and horns are very well done. I don't know if you care about the opinion of a twelve-year-old, but I liked it!
