Soooo I don't know if you remember that Shakespeare rewrite I was talking about a while ago, but I decided to turn it into a possible Webtoon(emphasis on possible, because I tried with Repercussions and never got that done, I'm so sorry but there were SO MANY PAGES) Romeo(first picture with the glowing eyes) is a trans woman living in Mantua about a thousand years into the future. It's basically the same as the play except very gay and very high-tech. This is something I hope to finally, actually finish but we'll see T-T
i just joined (as in, erm, yesterday...) but i just stumbled across this and wow, your art is great!! i consider myself an artist, but i'm in the object show fandom so i draw, well, objects instead of humans. sometimes rarely humanizations, but not often. the point is i SUCK SO BAD at human anatomy and you can do it really well :'D the face shapes and the proportions and the bodies... they're all SO GOOD ACK NICE JOB!
@OrabellaAvenue this is how I did it(spoilered 'cause it's a little long)!
Spoiler! :
For the inner ring of the upper left piece, I started by measuring my finger size and cutting some metal(nickel) to match. Then I bent it into an oval, soldered it shut, and used the ring mandrel to hammer it into shape. After that, I measured the outer rings so they'd fit around the inner one and basically did the same thing. For the two braided rings I twisted a couple of wires together with a drill clamp. Finally, I used a round dapping tool to flare out the edges of one side of the inner ring so the outer ones wouldn't slip off when I put them on. Then I dapped the other side so they'd be stuck on there completely. Polished the inside and outside, and done! The workmanship isn't great since it's my very first try, but I think it turned out pretty good for what it is.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. — Dr. Seuss
