So... I'm finally doing this! :D
I saw that @Holysocks and @Falconer have art threads for their drawings and thought "Why not?" Most of my drawings are quite... random... I fell out of drawing a little while ago and ever since I've been trying to get back into it my style has changed.

At the moment I only have one drawing scanned and saved to my computer, gotta dig the others out, but there's definitely more.
Anyway... Here we go! :P

Image

This is my most recent drawing.
Not sure what it is, don't ask. I quite like it, though.

I really do like these! Everything looks very proportional. With the first one, I like the geometric style and the color palette and how you made it into something else, a portrait.

In your second one, it is a very well cartoon duck. It looks anatomically correct, as of a duck would look like. Yet the wings look like hands and fingers. I know you would probably trying to go for feathers, yet if you want to achieve that, then make the tips of the wings narrow.

Finally, the steampunk eye. This one, very creative and cartoony. Looking at it in a detailed way, there isn't a lot of detail. You see, your tear duct is very small, smaller than the average tear duct. I would consider making it a little more rounded outwards. Also, there aren't any eyelashes. I see that commonly in most drawings. If this was a male eye, then put eyelashes, but not too many. Also, don't try to make them very curvy, but not very straight. Female eyelashes are a bit easier to create. You can go as curvy and have more.

Overall, I really like your art. I am just waiting to see more! Good job!

HEY KHATT, betcha didn't know I look at art stuff.

I'd like to echo CSW above me when I say that I do like your developing style and the color palettes you use. But I doooo think it could use a little work.

Let's talk about contrast. In two of these three drawings so far, it doesn't really come up, because you've got solid linework and colors that go well together (blue-green-yellow and yellow-brown). However, in the first one... let me say "yikes". The colors could be really effective, but with the kinda-shaky linework in-between, it kind of looks smudgy and where the colors meet is too harsh of a change from one color to the next. The colors don't really go together, you know?

I know you're working with a limited palette, but I'd definitely encourage you to do a little more color study. If you can, make a color wheel or a color sheet with what you have available, so you can directly compare one color to the next before using it on an actual drawing! This can help figure out the contrast between two or more colors and their shades (with added black) and tints (with added white).

But I do like what I see so far~ Keep drawing!

Here's a new thing. It's a bit strange. Just a bit.
I drew it very late at night. I blame the demons under my bed. *ahem* I mean, what?

<3 I love your art, Hatt.
Are you planning to do anything further with it? (Color, more detail, etc.) It looks great as is, but I was just curious.

Thanks, @Falconer! :D
Yeah, I wanna get better at details, especially on humans and such. Just gonna take a lot more practice, and I'm lazy, so... >.>

As for color, I don't tend to use color because I can either never get it right or, again, I'm too lazy to color the drawing. I'll try to incorporate more color into my works, though. They'd definitely look better with color (at least some would).
If I color anything I originally post here without color, I'll re-post it to show the difference. :)

So... it was one o'clock in the morning, I was bored, I wanted to draw a person. So I did.
Ta-da! And aren't I flattering? Poor bloke's cheek looks a bit swollen, but whatever. I quite like this portrait. ^-^

Also attempted shading, evidently... Not very good at it, but heeey.
